The North Logan Master Fee Schedule of North Logan, Utah, was initially published in house without codification software. The Master Fee Schedule was maintained and updated through 2014. In 2015, codification and administration of the Master Fee Schedule began in-­house under the direction of the City Recorder, Scott Bennett, and with the assistance of Municipal Code Online, Inc.

This Master Fee Schedule shall be cited as the North Logan Master Fee Schedule or “NLMFS” as an acronym. 
Include numbering system they select (see HTML code to delete comments if they adopt MCO numbering).

NLMFS is current and up to date as of 02/19/2025.

The Master Fess Schedule is supplemented from time­ to ­time with amendments and additions made by North Logan City. The specific legal sources that comprise this Master Fee Schedule have been adapted during the codification process from the original formatting of the official hard copy. In the event of discrepancies between the online Master Fee Schedule and the official hard copy, the official hard copy governs. License for Selling Fireworks

The license is in addition to a business’s regular license if the fireworks are sold within the business.  It is meant to cover the costs of additional fire dept. inspections to ensure safety regulations are followed specifically for the sale of fireworks.  It is non refundable.  One annual license covers the year’s fireworks season even if multiple inspections are to be made.


Bond for Selling Fireworks

The bond is in addition to a business’s regular license fees and is refundable each year after the Chinese New Year. If there are violations of local or state law and regulations for selling fireworks, at the City Recorder’s discretion, all or part of the bond may be forfeited to the City.


$100.00 for a year’s fireworks season, 
namely June 19 to July 26, and December 19 to January 3, and 15 days before and on the Chinese New Year.    The license is required both for businesses that are otherwise licensed with the city year round as well as those that only sell fireworks on a temporary basis.

Water Rights Fee
Building Permit Fee***As established in the 1997 Uniform Building Code adjusted annually by the CPI.

A down payment towards the cost of the building permit fee is payable when the applicant first applies for the building permit. If the applicant withdraws the application after the plans have been reviewed; or if the applicant does not complete the application process by picking up the application and paying for the permit; or if the plans change significantly such that they must be reviewed again; that downpayment is forfeited to the city to cover the cost of reviewing the plans. * LCIWTIF Definition: Multi-family refers to a residential dwelling that consists of duplex, triplex, quadplex, apartment, condominium, and all other dwelling units that are individually or jointly water metered and not classified as Single Family Residential. These may consist of one building or multiple buildings within a complex. Units can be arranged side-by-side or stacked vertically and can be owned individually or leased separately.

** LCIWTIF Definition: Non-Standard Impact Fee: Defined as commercial and industrial facilities, and public facilities. The City of Logan Environmental Director or his designee is responsible for the assessment and adjustment of the Non-Standard Impact Fee.

* The standard water meter is a one inch meter. Smaller meters may be provided for more accuracy if allowed by the Standard Plumbing code. In cases where facilities need additional flow which can only be provided by meters larger than 1.5 inches, compound meters will be installed to improve accuracy and to protect the city water system in case of line failure.

** In cases where larger meters are approved, fees for meters larger than 2 inches will be established using the relative capacity ratio of the meter as compared to the capacity of the standard one-inch meter (similar to the method used to determine the fees for the 1.5 and 2 inch meters); or the fees may be determined in accordance with Section 6-404, Adjustment of Impact Fees, Paragraph A. 3.

*** In the event of damage caused by fire or natural disaster to an occupied home where building permit fees and/or inspection fees are required for refurbishment or reconstruction, and such fees are not completely covered by insurance and where this creates a hardship for the owner, the owner may apply for waiver of that portion of building permit fees and/or inspection fees not covered by insurance. After review of the waiver application by city staff and upon approval by the building department, those fees not covered by insurance may be waived.

  • Youth/Adult Sports Programs & Activity Registrations: The North Logan Parks & Recreation Department will withhold 25% of any registration paid for recreational programs to cover administrative costs. No refunds will be given after the league schedule has been made, once online registration has closed, or after the first day of the program/event (whichever comes first).
  • Reduction or Waiver of Recreational Fee due to need: The City Administrator, in conjunction with the Parks & Rec. Director, will review applications for the Fee Reduction/Fee Waiver Program, which is designed to encourage all children to participate in recreational programs regardless of financial circumstances. These will be reviewed on a case by case basis, and determination of fee reduction or fee waiver will be made at the sole discretion of the City Administrator and Parks & Rec. Director.
